Year 11 Physics

Cass studied a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He graduated from The King’s School with an ATAR of 99.65. He has state ranking in Maths 2U. Cass achieved a mark of 98 for both Maths Ext 1 and 2. Cass can tutor Physics and Mathematics. He is self-motivated and energetic, having a great sense of responsibility during work and always ready for communication and insightful learning.

Qualifications

North Sydney Boys High School

Darius graduated from North Sydney Boys High School. He has studied Physics, Chemistry and Economics. He is currently our Physics and Chemistry tutor. He is a confident and friendly person.

Patrick is passionate in teaching Maths (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), Physics, Chemistry and English, as well as connecting with students. He received a Band 6 in Advanced Maths, Physics and English in his HSC. He has done debating, therefore, he has great communication skills and can clearly express and understand via oral and written expressions.

Terry is a graduate of Ryde Secondary College currently studying a dual degree in Engineering/Advanced Science at UNSW. He has had a passion for teaching since high school, creating and participating in a peer tutoring after-school program during his HSC year, and teaching at several other tutoring centres in his past. Terry spends his spare time as a youth leader at his local church, hoping to help students in ways beyond their education.

Ben is currently enrolled in Computer Science at UNSW, looking to major in Cyber Security. During his time at Newington College, He succeeded in Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1, Physics, and Chemistry, providing foundations for teaching year 10 to HSC. He prefers smaller groups of people to teach, as it allows for more personalized sharing of knowledge, where problems can be tackled individually. Apart from hobbies including running, sports and traveling, He loves teaching and helping people achieve their goals.

Work Experience

February 1999 to January 2013 - USFP Taylors College - Sydney NSW
Responsibilities: Mostly HSC Physics.
Accomplishments: Was granted an ST 1 status due to outstanding HSC results.
Skills Used: Was able to enthuse students to the extent they posted my demonstrations on YouTube with very complementary remarks.

Larry Mounser has worked as a Geophysicist, a volunteer environmental campaigner, an aid worker, a writer for TV, Radio and Print, and an Internet developer.

Larry taught Physics at Taylors College for more than ten years, and was Visiting Associate Lecturer in Media, in the Study Abroad Department, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, for almost 20 years. Larry has a Bachelor of Science, a Diploma of Education, and a Master of Arts in Writing.

He has been published in the Sydney Morning Herald, the Canberra Times, the Brisbane Courier Mail, the Good Weekend, Inside Sport, The Sunday Telegraph’s ‘Sunday’ magazine and 2MMM FM.
