Christian Jilwan | English, Maths Teacher
Christian Jilwan is a hardworking, passionate and enthusiastic 1st year psychology student eager to continue his current tutoring position over the summer and into the future year. Having recently graduated from High-School, he is very familiar with the intricacies of the new syllabus, and empathise with the struggles of students who are attempting to achieve in this area of life. Christian Jilwan has refined his studying practice over the many years to maximise efficiency and am eager to share his tips and tricks with others. Furthermore, he has completed syllabus, especially with grade 8 piano at the age of 14 and he has obtained 2 HSC ENCORE nominations for Sydney Opera House.

Grace Davidson-Lynch is a First Class Honours Graduate of University of Wollongong. Grace is looking to expand her experience in academia. She has been a professional dramaturg since 2016, and completed a minor thesis in 2019. Grace has experiences teaching both children and adults, in both tertiary level theatre studies and in high school and primary school level arts subjects.
Nastaran Ourzamani | English Teacher
Nastaran Ourzamani have taught English for almost 9 years in Iran. Her teaching experience includes nearly all proficiency levels, from basic to advance. She have got also the experience of instructing all age ranges from kids to adults. She still hold online classes after migration to Australia. Patience, punctuality and perseverance are the most brilliant features of my profession.

Priyanka has experience of being a school Biology and Chemistry teacher. She has taught English for Year 10. She has also been a lecturer in Biology. She has 6 years of experience as a teacher and lecturer.

Ravi is our English, Mathematics and Modern History Tutor. He has many years of experience as a tutor. Ravi has taught our Year 11 English Advanced Intensive Holiday Course. He has taught students of all levels and ages, as well as organising lessons. He communicates effectively with students, and tailors his tutoring lessons to a range of learning styles.

Ava is a professional educator who specialises in teaching English. With over 7 years’ tutoring experience, she thoroughly trained in content design, examination, reporting and classroom teaching. She has extensive experience with NESA, HSC English, ESL and junior English. By studying at the University of Sydney, Ava has completed an array of teaching practicums both in Australia and abroad.
Patrick Lee | Maths,Physics, Chemistry, English Teacher
Patrick is passionate in teaching Maths (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), Physics, Chemistry and English, as well as connecting with students. He received a Band 6 in Advanced Maths, Physics and English in his HSC. He has done debating, therefore, he has great communication skills and can clearly express and understand via oral and written expressions.

Mary is our Senior English Tutor at Maxx Academy. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a primary major in English. She has also graduated from Sydney Girls High School. She studied a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Mary has been a tutor of English and Writing. She had many roles including lesson preparation and delivery, marking homework and returning it to students each week and writing student progress reports. She has worked at an Anglican school for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Hamish graduated from Parramatta Marist in 2008 having being recognised with a Premier’s Award. He excelled in Mathematics (2U and Extension I), English (Advanced), Business Studies, Legal Studies, Information Process Technology and Religion (1U).
Hamish subsequently studied at UTS and the University of Zurich graduating with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Economics) with Distinction and Bachelor Laws with Honors.
He has worked both at a Big 4 professional services firm and is currently working as a Lawyer at a big 6 international business law firm.
Benjamin Pick | Maths, Chemistry, English, Physics Teacher
Ben is currently enrolled in Computer Science at UNSW, looking to major in Cyber Security. During his time at Newington College, He succeeded in Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1, Physics, and Chemistry, providing foundations for teaching year 10 to HSC. He prefers smaller groups of people to teach, as it allows for more personalized sharing of knowledge, where problems can be tackled individually. Apart from hobbies including running, sports and traveling, He loves teaching and helping people achieve their goals.
