Job Description

Maxx Academy Chatswood branch is looking for a professional and friendly Administrator / Receptionist / Customer Service Representative / Sales Representative to join our team.

You will provide a range of administrative services to our students and parents, contribute to continuously improving processes to satisfy customer needs whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with all client bases.

Duties will include:

  • Answering and distributing incoming telephone calls, emails, online chat, website and face to face enquiries
  • Providing administrative support to the Directors
  • Processing enrolments and management of class rolls
  • Management of customer profiles, enrolments on the CRM system; Input all activity into CRM system
  • Maintaining office equipment and inventory
  • Being the first point of contact for queries from new and existing customers
  • Assist the Academic Team with the monitoring of student attendance and progress
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Booking consultations and referrals
  • Proactively follow up incoming sales leads and build/develop relationships with existing and prospective clients via phone and email
  • Update our Student Information System including, entering details and progress
  • Assist customers with post-sale enquiries & complaints
  • Work with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Report escalated issues and provide regular customer feedback to management
  • Scanning and filing files
  • General office duties

Skills and attributes required:

  • Minimum one years experience in Customer Service, Administration, Retail or Sales
  • Knowledge of the education industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills
  • Neat presentation and punctuality
  • Extremely customer focused, constantly surprising and delighting
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; Deliver results under time constraints
  • Intermediate office software skills

The position is ideal for a final year university student, a recent graduate or a postgraduate student who is looking to take the next step in their career and grow within an organisation. It will require the applicant to be available to work both Saturday and Sunday and additional weekdays. This role will be based at our Chatswood location.
